Today I was the recipient of an amazing act of kindness! I had been looking for one of these on Amazon and most of the decent ones were over $50. With our limited budget, I just couldn't justify the expense. So I went on Facebook marketplace and found a used one for sale for $30. I started chatting with the seller, a nice lady named Hannah, and she offered to give it to me for free!
Normally I'd have a hard time accepting that and would have insisted on paying her something, but I decided to take some of my own advice for once 😂 My advice: "Learn how to gracefully accept an act of kindness. If you feel the need to insist on doing something for the person who is freely offering the kindness, explore why! Maybe you believe that you don't deserve it? Well you DO. Everyone deserves kindness. So simply thank the person and pay it forward if you can".
