Gathering Donations for Feminine Hygiene Products!

Here's something a lot of people avoid talking about: Many women are unable to afford feminine hygiene products! Government assistance programs, like SNAP and Medicaid, don't cover the cost. Can you imagine if you or a woman you love was unable to properly care for herself when she was menstruating? One of our raffle winners Maria chose to pay it forward instead of accepting her prize. She asked us to make a donation to Media Food Bank. Instead of buying food, we bought menstrual products. There's a demand for them at many food banks.

KDS believes that all people deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness. It upsets us to think that any woman has to be extra stressed about her time of the month due to finances. If you'd like to help, please comment or PM us. We'd be happy to pick up donations of pads, tampons and pantiliners and take them to the food bank. You can also Venmo with a note that says "menstrual dignity" and we'll set the money aside to purchase those items.
